MESSAGE from Lyn Baker Jackson 12/20/2024:

It is with so much sadness that I tell you that Bob passed away today.  His lungs could not be healed and his kidneys had begun to fail.  My heart and my children's are broken. We had to make the difficult decision to remove his medications and vent.  Please pray for our family.  It has been a difficult month for us.

Bobby was a great manager for the Bearcat Football team. He was always kind and fun to know. Some of us called him Hoss. He always had a great smile. He will forever be remembered as one of the Good Guys. RIP Hoss.

Bobby was a great help to our football team. We had a preseason scimmage with Union. I was playing defensive saftey when this big Union fullback burst through the line. I hit him head on and was prectically knocked out. When it came time for offense Coach Oates told me to call the play. I forgot the plays!.....no kidding. Bobby and I were then headed to the lockerroom  where he gave me ice water until came around. By then it was time to go home.Started remembering the plays about halfway back to Rock Hill with Bobby nearby.
