Dear Classmates,
More sad news. Our Class of '66 "Miss Bearcat," Lisa Oates Todd, was taken from this earth yesterday. Her husband Calvin had died only a couple months ago in late May, so they are once again together, no doubt praying from above for all of us left behind. Roz Morton last week and Lisa this week. Too many, too ofteln.
Pasted below is current info. Daughter Rachel and son Sam are currently finalizing service and burial plans.
Mrs. Eloise Oates Todd, 75, widow of Dr. Calvin Williams Todd, died on Wednesday, August 9, 2023. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, Columbia, SC, is assisting the family and will announce further plans.

Lisa was pretty and precious. I enjoyed being around her our senior year at RHHS.

Lisa was a great classmate who was Bearcat to the core.She was smart and well liked by all her classmates. Her mother was an outstanding teacher as well. Though I had not seen her in many years, she has my vote as Mrs.Bearcat class of 1966!
