Sad to hear of Janice's passing. She, her twin brother, Gene, and I were in school together from the first grade at Lesslie through graduation from Rock Hill High. We reconnected a couple of years ago after 48 years. She will be greatly missed.

As with any former student that I didn't know personally but have noticed in those days at RHHS it is very sad to see one of them pass away. I hold all of you in my heart still with memories spent with you nearby in the halls of school. You may not have noticed me but I remember you. Bless you for just being there with me back then, whether I knew you closely or not. You are in God's hands now. Ken Hinson

Janice was also in my first grade class at Lesslie. I don't remember very much about the children in my class then. I reconnected with Janice a few years ago just by wish her happy birthday through this site. I remember seeing her on campus and may have had a few classes with her. Like Ken, I also am sad to see a fellow classmate pass away. I know that she will be missed by her family and friends. I know she is in a better place now with our Lord and Savior.

Janice is a blessed woman to have such nice comments made about her by her classmates. I remember Janice very well as far as seeing her in classes and in the hall. I remember her smiling face. I wished I had known her better. I hope that when I pass I will have Lewis, Ken and Wayne saying nice things and Becky in charge of the music. It is very comforting to know there are so many nice people out there who care. You all are very special people! God bless you Janice and your family.
