My sympathy to the family and friends. These times bring about a "slap" in the face of our mortality and awaken us. So much more than when we were young, rebellious and thought we were immortal. Our days are numbered and limited so let's live them to the fullest. We have that choice.
We also all have this choice to make in the free gift of eternal life. Do you want to accept it? Ephesians 2:8.
I would challenge you all to seriously reflect on this promise.

Chuck was one of those you will never forget. I reconnected with him at our 25th reunion - he was recovering from a heart attack at that time. I lost contact with him after our 30th reunion as my husband moved to Richmond, Va. He was a gentle soul and loved people. I will truly miss him
