Rev. Robert Alford

Rock Hill, South Carolina - Reverend Frank Robert Alford, 73, passed away on Monday, February 7, 2022 at Piedmont Medical Center.
The graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, February 14, 2022 at Forest Hills Cemetery, 4290 Old York Road, Rock Hill, SC with Reverend Randy Devinney and Reverend Jerry Devinney officiating. Visitation with the family will follow at the home of his daughter, Kelly Alford Rinehimer, 228 Abigail Court, Rock Hill, SC.
Born in Rock Hill, on March 20, 1948, Rev. Alford was the son of the late William David Alford, Sr. and the late Mary Gordon Bowers. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Tommy Alford and his sister, Donna Carpenter. He was retired from the ministry with over 16 years of service. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, playing golf, and watching sports. One of his favorite pastimes was visiting anywhere along coastal area. He was a member of Westerly Hills Baptist Church.
Rev. Alford is survived by his wife, Kathy Lowry Alford; his two daughters, Kelly (Chuck) Rinehimer and Mandy (Ryan) Gillespie all of Rock Hill; his four grandchildren, Zane Gillespie, Tate Olney, Paisley Gillespie and Kaleb Olney; two brothers, Johnny Alford and Lee Alford both of York; William David Alford, Jr. of Johnson City, TN.
