Lynda H. Coleman of Wilmington, NC, died Monday, March 28th, at Lower Cape Fear Hospice & LifeCareCenter. The (daughter of James Hudgens and Ida Kellog Tallent, she was born on February 2, 1947 in Pelzer, South Carolina. She is 'survived by her brother, James Eugene Hudgens and his wife, Debbie of Rockhill , her sister Cindy and her husband Fred Wendland of Salem, three children, Dawn Mitchelle Schaffer and her husband, David Randall and his wife, William Alex, as well as four grandchildren. She is also survived by her companion of many years, Rayford Utley and a host of wonderful lfriends, many from AA, who loved and supported her during her illness. Lynda donated her body to the Brody School of
Medicine in Greenville, NC. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, April 9 at 12:30 p.m. at the Southeastern ICenter,2023 South 17th Street led by Chaplain Paula Ring, Lynda's "personal" chaplain and friend.
