Steve was a wonderful guy and friend. I worked with him at the old Burger Chef in Rock Hill. He was a manager at the time in 1968. Sad to see him gone at such a young age. He will be missed by all who knew him. Ken Hinson

Steve was a friend for many years. We called him JB for a reason I can't comment on here. He was a member of our group and we were proud of calling him a friend. He died much to young and we all miss him very much.Tommy Hart
JB was one of the original NAPBS, so he was our brother. A couple of years ago, during one of our annual meetings, we found his grave, told a few lies about our times together, and shared a fifth of Bourbon with him. He is remembered and missed.Wayne Gillespie
Steve ( JB ) was a very nice person. He had many friends, because of his kindness & easy going spirit.Had an easy laugh. Miss you JB.
