I am so sorry to hear about Brenda. She was a joy to be around. Always funny. I always wanted to make sure I was on her volleyball or basketball team. She was so athletic and knew our team would win and we did.

Sad to inform you all that a former RHHS classmate has past away. I saw on Facebook that Brenda Carter had past around 8:30 p.m. yesterday. It was first posted by her younger sister Laurie Carter Leary and moments later by her older sister, Carolyn Carter Smith. Brenda was a neighbor and friend and classmate for years. She had an undeniable great personality that had us laughing in and out of class and she loved sports.

I just came on board and sad to see that Brenda had passed. My post is late but as a high school Bearcat, she was an incredible athlete. She never got tired and could probably outplay a lot of men. She was an awesome Bearcat!

Brenda was my first cousin and we grew up together on Rockwood Dr. She was a natural athlete and a naturally funny person, always kept me laughing. We were close through all the years. It's a little over a year since she passed away and I miss her everyday.
